Adequate infrastructure is the key to success of any organization and department also. In this context the department is well equipped with departmental library, classrooms, computer centers, laboratories, seminar room, NPTEL lectures etc.

As stated in the mission statement, we focus on all round development of the students. The department greatly emphasises on social responsibility in addition to academic growth. Accordingly thrust is given on providing activities, which enable personality development, confidence building, industry exposure & enhancing communication skills. Expert lectures, seminars, workshops, field trainings and other programmes for the students are regularly organized.

Faculty plays a vital role in nurturing development of students. Faculty development activities are given more importance. Most of the faculties we recruit from IIT's and NIT's to impart quality education to the students.

It has also enabled faculty and industries to work closely for industry problems. We have highly qualified and dedicated faculty, very good supporting staff of science & humanities department who continously put their efforts to make department excell, talented students, and most of all a supportive management at the helm. Our dream is to make Civil Engineering as a well reputed department and as we move gradually towards the goal of preparing students for different competitive examinations GATE, PSUs, state PSCs. we become increasingly inspired to achieve it.
